Travelling from BMR to Tabanan then we head north up the mountain till we reach the top. Here we will find Bedugal, one thousand five hundred metres above sea level. A market town which grows much of Bali's fruit and vegetables.

Highlights of the trip include:
Candi Kuning Market -- The centre of vegetables and fruit all grown locally.
The Eka Karya botanical garden with a land area of 129.2 hectare - has 650 species of trees and unique collection of ferns and orchids
Lake Beratan - Lying below a backdrop of forested crator walls which was formed centuries ago, by some primeval eruption.
Ulun Danu Temple - dedicated to Sang Dewi Danau, goddess of the lake is set on the lakeside and has one of the most beautiful backdrops of any in Bali.
The 17th century temple has a Buddhist stupa near the outer courtyard bearing witness to this temple's Hindu- Buddhist roots.
