We can assist in organising cars and English speaking drivers for daytrips around scenic and traditional parts of Bali.
Popular locations include:
• The calm beaches of the north coast of Bali around Lovina
• Ubud, for shopping and indulging in the arts or traditional Balinese dance performance
• The mountain lakes of Central Bali
• The fishing villages of Jembrana in the west of Bali
• Bali’s father temple, Pura Batukaru and the famous Tanah Lot Temple in Tabanan Regency
• Beautiful fishing boats at Perancak in the west of Bali

	Daytrip 1: NORTH: Lovina via Munduk or lake Bratan A beautiful drive through traditional Bali, rice terraces, around the mountain to the north coast. Approx. 2 hrs drive direct, turning right at Seririt we will stop in at the Hot Springs in Banjar.. Time of daytrip: 8 hours

	Half Daytrip 2: SOUTH: Tanah Lot :: A beautiful drive through traditional Bali, rice terraces, down to the south coast. Approx. 1 1/4 hrs drive direct, turning right at Tabanan we will stop at the famous Toko Nyoman where you can check out the sarong and Balinese clothing store. Time of 1/2 daytrip: 4 -5 hours

	Daytrip 3: EAST: The Famous Ubud: Ubud is famous for the Arts, shopping and the Monkey Forest. A 1 1/2 hr drive from BMR this is an ideal day trip. Time of daytrip: 8 hours

	Daytrip 4: West: Perancak : Negara The coastal village of Perancak is named for its ancient temple, Purancak Temple, where the hindu priest Dang Hyang Nirartha first set foot on Bali in 1546. Visit the Rambut Siwi Temple, which is one of the biggest Hindu Temples in Bali. Time of daytrip: 8 - 9 hours

	Daytrip 5: Bedugal lakes : Central Bali Highlands: This daytrip encompasses some of Balis greatest treasures. Your comfort is provided in an Air conditioned car with an english speaking Balinese driver / guide. Visit Pura Luhur Batukaru, Jatiluwih Rice Fields, Bratan Lake and the botanical gardens on this daytrip. Time of daytrip: 8 - 9 hours

	Treks at BMR: See our variety of Treks.: We have chosen our treks to give our guests a traditional Balinese experience. Far from Tourist Bali, this area is relatively untouched. We limit our numbers on treks to have minimal impact on the traditional way of life here.

	Workshops at BMR: Cooking, Decorations, etc We have a variety of workshops at Bali Mountain Retreat to give you a closer look at the traditions and way of life of the Balinese.
