BUDGET RICE HOUSE

Bali Mountain Retreat has available a unique oportunity for those on a budget or who would simply like the idea of staying in the traditional 'Lumbung". This building was and still is used for storing 'beras' ( rice). We have restored and converted the lumbung to be small accommodation for up to 2 people.

Almost all compounds in the local village still use the lumbung to store rice, however, I have seen a few converted to sleeping rooms. The villagers will often sit on the platform below to share a coffee and a few stories
