Our Guest Teacher Sharmara

Sharmara will conduct bellydance classes and workshop during the retreat for beginner and intermediate levels of participants and for those who are experienced and just want to have some fun!!

Sharmara is a contemporary Middle Eastern Dance performer and teacher who strives to gain greater respect and understanding of this ageless and enduring dance form. Her choreographies are playful, intricate and challenging.

Shamara's experience has shown the goals of students almost always include the pursuit of fun, exercise and camraderie in addition to Middle Eastern dance technique and performance skills.

Renowned as the artistic and cultural centre of Bali, there are so many options for your time in Ubud. Visit the Ubud market to buy handicrafts and taste the local produce. Shop at the many boutiques for antiques, clothing, jewellery, silk and batik. Visit Goa Gajah- the elephant cave, Monkey Forest or an art gallery. Night time bellydance performance, bring your costume!

All meals whilst staying at Bali Mountain Retreat

All meals are provided at Batukaru Mountain Retreat. Meals are buffet-style and/or set menu breakfast, lunch and dinner. Morning and afternoon tea are provided. Each meals is inclusive of tea, coffee and/or fruit juice. Vegetarians are catered for.
