The budget/standard teak House rooms are furbished in the same style as the superior rooms, they are , however , smaller and have external amenities ( toilet and shower ) about 10m from the room. This is due to the design and incorporation of a beautiful recycled Teak House that we modified to build our guest accommodation. This room has a verandah and is quite comfortable with a Kingsized or twin beds.
The Teak house is a blend of traditional Balinese & contemporary Asian styles, it has well appointed rooms in a handcrafted teak building. This is a unique example of modern Bali accommodation. Bali Mountain Retreat caters for couples, families and group bookings such as weddings or retreats.

Due to distance from the coast and to fully appreciate this special part of Bali we suggest a minimum 2 nights stay.

Activities available at BMR include guided walks through the rice fields and gardens, guided treks up the mountain or through the protected mountain forest as well as cycling tours

The unique location in Central Bali enables Bali Mountain Retreat Guesthouse to offer daytrips to a wide range of destinations including, the calm beaches of the north coast of Bali, the shopping districts of Ubud and Kuta, the mountain lakes of Central Bali, as well as the fishing villages of Jembrana in the west of Bali. (All within 1 ½ hours traveling time)
BMR can also show you two of Bali’s most revered temples, Bali’s father temple, Pura Batukaru and the famous Tanah Lot temple on the coast, both are in Tabanan. (1 hour traveling time)
