Bali Mountain Retreat suggestion:
After recent experiences we strongly recommend using our pick up service as Balinese drivers automatically go to their father Temple Batukaru. This detour adds 1 1/2 hours to the trip as we are not in this area. The price then usually rises. Be aware, taxis will not come up
the mountain on these roads.
Transport costs to Bali Mountain Retreat by A/C vehicle from the areas of Airport and Ubud is Rp 350.000 one way, the trip is 2 hours, maximum 4 people.
From Kuta/Legian/Seminyak Rp 320.000 one way ( 1 1/2 Hours) Booking is essential.
Any other areas for pick up or drop off will be negotiated first.
If you have arranged transport or are driving yourself, be sure to download and print a map
from our Download map link and stress to the driver we are not near Pura
(temple) Batukaru. You will enjoy the trip through the ricefields and traditional villages coming to BMR.

Why not have a daytrip on the way to or leaving Bali Mountain Retreat?
Guests can choose to have a daytrip when coming to or leaving Bali Mountain Retreat. A 8 hour daytrip with a/c car and driver is Rp 600.000. ie. only Rp 250.000 more than the transport itself.
See our link for daytrips or ask us to suggest a daytrip from/to your pick up/drop off area. eg. Leave Seminyak / Kuta area at 9 am, via Tanah Lot, Jatiluwih Rice Fields, Pura Luhur Batukaru then on to Bali Mountain Retreat, arrive at 5 pm.
