CD 7: Gong Saron / Luang Vol 1, Celuk
This Seka Saron Luang is part of Yayasan Suara Danas program of reviving the traditional music in Bali. I Ketut Suardana is preserving this ensemble through a program of combining the Saron with the Gong Luang
The scale is seven tones. Gong Saron is extremely rare. There are probably only two semi-active groups still going.
