CD 4 Salonding Celuk
Description
The Salonding is one of the oldest ensembles in Balinese music.
The music dates back to the Megapahit Kingdom some 600 years ago.
These groups are rarely seen nowadays and are used mainly for
sacred ceremonies at the Temples. The Salonding has metal bars .
The Salonding in Yayasan Suara Dana consists of 7 players,
1 Njong Njong Gedenan.-I Ketut Suardana
1 Petudah- I Nyoman Parta Gunawan, (I Wayan Asmana)
1 Peneman- I Komang Mustika
1 Njong Njong Cernikan - I Wayan Astmanu
1 Gong Cerik - I Putu Parta Suardana, ( I Wayan Suteja)
1 Gong Gede - I Komang Parta Indrawan( I Ketut Sukada &I Kadek Astawa).
